Overview

This page explains the cookies and browser storage used on montecatinigolf.it. It follows the guidance of the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) on the use of cookies and similar tracking tools (May 2021) and Article 122 of the Italian Privacy Code, together with the GDPR.

By default only strictly necessary storage is used. Anything that is not strictly necessary — currently, the embedded Google map on our Contact page — is only loaded after you give consent.

Cookies vs. local storage

A cookie is a small file stored by your browser and sent back to the server on every request. localStorage is a separate browser storage area that stays in your browser and is never sent to any server. Italian and EU rules on cookie consent apply to both when they are used to store information on your device.

What this site actually stores

The list below covers the storage this website sets itself. It does not include storage set by third parties you choose to load (see the next section).

mgc-cookie-consent-v1localStorageStores your cookie / storage consent choice so we do not ask again on every visit.Re-asked after ~6 monthsStrictly necessary

sb-*-auth-tokenlocalStorageSet only on the private admin area after sign-in. Keeps the administrator logged in.Session (until sign-out)Strictly necessary

The site does not set any first-party tracking or advertising cookies.

Third-party embedded content

The Contact page shows a Google Maps embed pointing to the club's location. It only loads after you enable "Preferences / embedded content" in the cookie preferences panel. When it loads, Google may set its own cookies under google.com according to Google's own policies. Google acts as an independent data controller for that content.

Analytics and marketing

This website does not currently load any web analytics, advertising, social pixel or profiling service. If we add one in the future, this page will be updated and you will be asked for consent before it loads.

How to withdraw or change consent

  • Use the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of any page.
  • Clear the site data from your browser's settings. On the next visit you will be asked again.
  • Consent choices are re-requested at least every 6 months.

Change your choice

You can reopen the cookie preferences panel at any time.
